This was a project I was very excited about and have come to learn a great deal from working on. I was asked to compose background music and create the SFX (in short, all the audio but the narration) for an animated TED TALK about the Paris Catacombs, as far as "corporate" jobs go, this could not have been more up my street. Fascinating history and some spooky vibes, I couldn't wait to get started.
Although the director of the piece was extremely happy with my work, in the last minutes of post production, a decision was made that TED was going to use in house audio for the film. This was of course disappointing, but I was still paid in full for the work I completed on the project. Once I'd given my ego a little time to recover, I watched my version of the piece again and was still wholeheartedly proud of my work. Below is the my version of the finished film and some isolated audio of my favourite music from it.
